For the past 13 seasons the Oakland Raiders have been irrelevant. After week 1 losing to the Bengals 33-13 it seemed that this was just another season. With all the 

hype around this team in the off season. The hypes was not that big either. How would the Raiders respond in week 2. They had to play the Ravens who they have only beat once in the last 9 meetings. How can this young team play with this Super Bowl winning coach. Would it be different? I was at the game and didn't really know what to expect. I thought the Raiders would lose and lose bad. Why would I think any different from years past. The Raiders get the ball first and after a few plays, Arami Cooper gets behind the Defender and Carr throws the ball, the catch is made and Arami scores a 68 yard touchdown. The stadium goes crazy. For the most part it was kind of a back and forth. The Raiders lead for most of the game. Then Derek Carr finds Michael Crabtree for a 29 yard touchdown and to go up by 10. The Raiders are up by 10 in the 3rd quarter with 2:12 left. Then it seemed that the Raiders would lose. The Ravens would score 7 and 3 and get the score to 30-30 in the 4th quarter. The Raiders are driving and then a big mistake happened. Derek Carr throws a interception. The Ravens get the ball and drive down and get a field goal and make the score 33-30. It was a fun game and I was happy that the Raiders were still in the game in the 4th quarter. Then Derek Carr drives the Raiders down field and scores a touchdown to Seth Roberts with 26 seconds left. The next series Joe Flaco throws a interception.  I thought to my self, what just happened. Raiders WR Seth Roberts makes mark with game-winning TD

Two games into his NFL career, Roberts has a game-winning play of his own to match Malcolm Butler's interception in the Super Bowl for New England - even if it did come on a much smaller stage.

Roberts caught the go-ahead touchdown pass from Derek Carr with 26 seconds remaining last Sunday to give the Oakland Raiders their first win of the season, 37-33 over the Baltimore Ravens.

That one play turned Roberts from a mostly anonymous former practice squader into an NFL contributor. Full Article

I know it is early we are only in week 3 but a game like that can change a franchise around. A game winning drive against a power house like the Ravens. Lets not get ahead of ourselves either. The Raiders have to go win a road game which they have not done in over two years. If they can win on the road then maybe things are truly different. They need to follow the Ravens win with a road win this week in week 3. Or the win against the Ravens means nothing. Can the Raiders do it, well they have the talent but the defense cannot give up 33 points again. That is two weeks in a row that the defense allows 33 points. After week three we can see.
